We at Gowrishankar Chemicals manufacture
wide range of GAC to suit different applications. Most activated
carbon suppliers, however, provide a very limited product line.
This means they ‘force’ their product to try to
‘fit’ your requirements. This is not the case with
GCARBON, because we have the broadest line in the industry.
At GCARBON we manufacture over twenty grades of activated carbon.
These are thermally activated using rotary kilns under carefully
controlled conditions. The resulting pore structure is excellent
for liquid phase applications; especially where removal of color,
taste, odorous or other moderate to large molecules is of primary
interest.
At GCARBON we manufacture activated carbon primarily from coconut
shell charcoal. We manufacture special grades for effluent treatment
compressed gas and air purification, for ore extraction, for
gas mask, etc.

Our Bacteriostatic Activated Carbon
(BAC) finds use in POU apparatus like in portable drinking water
purification.
We have come out with a special packing of this BAC in
a 220g sachet which can be used as a refill for domestic UV
water purifiers. |
